I am overwhelmed with gratitude to have the opportunity to express my appreciation as a parent about my very own school. I am so proud for the incredible impact Good Shepherd Centenary School has had on my son’s life. From the moment he stepped into the school, he’s been nurtured by passionate teachers who encouraged him to explore his passions and supported in his growth. My son’s journey at Good Shepherd Centenary School has been truly transformative. He’s developed a love for learning, discovered hidden talents, and built unbreakable bonds with his peers and teachers.
What me and my husband love as parents the most is the school’s strong emphasis on character development, empathy and social responsibility which we believe will shape our son into a compassionate and confident individual. Being a Good Shepherdian myself the key strengths that I saw my school hold as a student and still see it as a parent are:
I wholeheartedly recommend Good Shepherd Centenary School to any parent seeking a well-rounded education that prioritizes values, academic excellence, personal growth and character development. Thank you to the entire Good Shepherd community for providing a nurturing environment that has helped my son thrive. We as parents are so happy and proud for choosing Good Shepherd Centenary School for our son. Writing about my alma mater is a joy to revisit the moments that shaped me into the person I am today and to acknowledge the incredible role the school is playing in my son’s growth and development is truly special, and I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to express my appreciation. It’s wonderful to see the school’s legacy continue through generations, with me now experiencing it as a parent.
A Grateful Reflection as PTA President – My Journey with Good Shepherd Centenary SchoolFirst and foremost, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the school management for giving me this opportunity to share my reflections and experiences as a PTA President and more importantly as a father. It is both a privilege and a responsibility to serve as the President of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) at Good Shepherd Centenary School, an institution that holds a special place in my heart. As a parent, and more recently in the capacity of a PTA leader, I have had the opportunity to witness firsthand the profound impact this school has had, not just on the students, but on families like mine.
What stands out to me as the greatest strengths of this school is its dedicated and compassionate faculty. The teachers here are not only educators but also mentors and caregivers who invest deeply in every child’s development. Their tireless support and individual attention have played a pivotal role in Vedika’s holistic growth, both physically and cognitively. Over the past year, I’ve seen her become more confident, inquisitive, and empathetic, all thanks to the structured learning environment and the values-based approach imparted by the institution.
A moment that stands out for me personally was during the school’s Christmas celebration. I had the delightful opportunity to don the red suit and play Santa Claus for the children. The joy in their eyes, the innocence of their laughter, and the festive spirit that filled the air were moments I will cherish forever. It wasn’t just a fun activity, it was a moment of bonding, of shared joy, and of being part of a community that celebrates togetherness in the most heartfelt ways.
What particularly touches me is how the school imparts moral values rooted in a culturally inclusive way. These teachings have left a deep impression on Vedika, influencing her understanding of compassion, honesty, gratitude, and kindness. These are not just values she’s learned in theory – they are reflected in her daily interactions and her growing worldview.
Being a part of Good Shepherd Centenary School has been an enriching journey – not just for my daughter, but for our entire family. I take immense pride in being associated with an institution that combines academic excellence with strong ethical foundations and community spirit.
To all parents considering this school, and to those already a part of it, I can confidently say that we are in a place where our children are not just taught – they are nurtured, celebrated, and prepared for life in the truest sense.
