Once there was a town named Candylia. It is a world where candies live. During the month of November, you could see candies going to the malls buying costumes for Halloween. They were all preparing for a Halloween party. It was organized at the Chocolate Cake’s house because it was the biggest house in town.
They all wanted to scare the Chocolate Cake, so they hid in his house. The Red Velvet Milkshake pretended to be a fruit punch. Then the Marshmallow with the help of some Crackers was pretending to be a sandwich. While the Brownie dressed up as the sofa and the foolish Skittles were hiding inside the fishbowl pretending to be the coloured pebbles. After some time, the Chocolate cake entered the house.
He was thirsty and so went to drink some fruit punch. When, he took the cup, the punch cried “Chocolate Cake don’t drink me, I’m your friend Red Velvet Milkshake”. Since he was hungry, he went to eat a sandwich.
As we all know Marshmallow and Crackers were pretending to be the sandwich, so they silently moved away as the Chocolate Cake tried to grab them. Seeing this the surprised Chocolate Cake tried to catch them again. So, to escape him they jumped out shouting “Surprise!”. The Chocolate Cake was so shocked that he went to sit on the sofa where the Brownie was hiding. When he sat down on the sofa, he heard a loud cry “Ouch! you are sitting on me”, screamed the Brownie, immediately he stood and saw Brownie smashed on the sofa. He helped him to stand up.
Next, he went to feed his hungry fish some Choco pie. When he saw the fishbowl, he saw different food coloring mixing in the water. He started laughing seeing the colorless Skittles who couldn’t recognize themselves. They were all laughing helplessly and had a wonderful Halloween party.
You gave clean water to nourish the crops,
We save in containers, though you fall in drops.
Nature’s biggest gift is the purest form of water from you.
Millions of machines used for water purity are going to bid adieu.
When the lands go dry, in our prayers we implore,
Out of joy we cry, when we see you pour.
More lives were lost when you are heavily poured,
Despite all that, we have rain gardens, that does not let soil erode.
Technically, you precipitate,
Humans, you hydrate,
Metabolism, you activate,
Blood pressure you regulate,
By supplying oxygen, breathing, you accelerate,
Crops you irrigate,
Plantations you cultivate,
Crops you irrigate,
Fire and smoke, you underrate,
You are one of the best gifts to mankind, God did create
The Mountain flies,
In the tranquil skies;
And I lay afloat
On a canopy as boat.
A cat wore glasses,
Playing a guitar,
Flying on a kite of stars,
Mystery it was!
Clouds as candy floss,
Fluffy and white.
I try for a bite,
Yummy and light.
Floating, I chase the rainbow;
Gleaming, they pass over me.
Stumbling, I slip of my bed
Looking into the light of the day.
Mystery it was!
My friends and I had decided to camp out in the woods for a night. We had packed up everything and left for the woods. Once we had reached, we set up our tent and sat beside the fire gazing at the stars. Suddenly we heard a frightful howl and the bushes rustling.
The sound had gotten closer. I then got up and looked left and right. “There’s nothing there” I said to my friends. It seemed I was wrong; Alex then spotted a doglike figure. Out of curiosity I asked him what it could be. He said that he didn’t know for sure, but he assumed it to be a fox of some sort.
Catherine, Joe and I had decided to go and check it out while Becky, Alex and Douglas stayed back. When we got closer to it, we broke into a run and chased it through the woods. It led us to a riverbank and beside it we saw a stone tablet with strange markings on it it. In curiosity we slowly lifted it up and to our surprise, we had found an ancient treasure underneath it and at that moment we were in shock, as we never thought we would make such discoveries in the deep dark woods. So, we picked it up and brought it back to the camp.
Becky suggested that we take it to the archeologist in the morning, but to our surprise in the morning it was nowhere to be seen. From that day onwards I had always thought about that ancient treasury.
Even though I lost it I still think camping is a fun way to enjoy it with our friends and is truly adventurous.
